Arrive At Least 1 ½ Hours Before Your Flight
Flying out of ILM? With the projected busy spring and summer travel season, travelers are reminded to arrive at least 1 ½ hours before their flight departure time. Airlines have minimum required check-in times before departure, and it is best to err on the side of caution. ILM encourages travelers to plan accordingly so you are not in a rush in the event a step along the way, such as travel getting to the airport, takes longer than expected. Plus, if you get to your gate early, you can enjoy a cup of coffee, a local brew, or complimentary wifi.
Consider Applying for TSA Pre✓®
Travelers, especially those that fly frequently, are also encouraged to consider applying for TSA Pre✓®. New this week, travelers will notice a new layout with the TSA security lanes at ILM. Those that are TSA Pre✓® will now have a dedicated lane separate from the standard security lane. TSA Pre✓® travelers don’t need to remove shoes, laptops, 3-1-1 liquids, belts, and light jackets.
