The Wilmington International Airport Welcomes New Board Members

Harry W. Stovall, III: Mr. Harry Stovall was appointed to the New Hanover Airport Authority Board by the New Hanover County Commissioners June 19th, and will serve a four year term (through June 30, 2021).  Stovall previously served as an Airport Authority Board Member 2003-2011; including his role as Board Chair. Mr. Stovall III is a Principal of Commonwealth Commercial Properties and the Broker-in-Charge. Mr. Stovall has been licensed since 1972 and has his contractor and broker licenses.  As a native of Wilmington, Stovall is an experienced commercial and residential developer in the Wilmington market.  Mr. Stovall recently earned Realtor Emeritus Status for his 40 years of service to the real estate community. He is active with the Board of Realtors and the Realtors Commercial Alliance.  Mr. Stovall looks forward to serving another term as a productive Airport Authority Board Member.

W. Lee Williams, III: Mr. Lee Williams was appointed to the New Hanover Airport Authority Board by the New Hanover County Commissioners June 19th, and will serve a four year term (through June 30, 2021).  Mr. Williams III is the Vice Chairman of Live Oak Bank and one of the original founders of the Bank. Williams has managed and planned the startup and development of the 11 acre Live Oak Bank campus and has managed individual building construction projects in the size of $10mm to $25mm. Prior to starting Live Oak Bank, Mr. Williams spent 19 years in corporate banking at Wachovia and worked for 14 years at Vine Street Financial doing SBA lending.  Williams is a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and resident of Wilmington since 1987. He has, and is currently serving on several private company boards, as Managing Member, and has served in the capacity of President and Treasurer on numerous charitable and not for profit groups in Wilmington and elsewhere in North Carolina. With a lifetime interest in aviation, Mr. Williams is looking forward to supporting the long term plan for the airport’s infrastructure.
