The airport’s snow and ice plan has been activated. ILM’s snow removal team and snow and ice equipment are ready for potential winter weather. Safety is our top priority. Travel Update
The ILM airport is open and operations continue with limited delays. Please note, there could be flight delays or cancellations throughout the national airspace system. Airlines will communicate directly with travelers if flight disruptions arise. Further, ILM advises travelers to check flight status directly with their airlines before heading to the airport.
ILM Launches In-Terminal Music Program
New this week, ILM is starting an in-terminal live music program. The program, named ILM Rhythms & Tunes, showcases local musicians from across the Cape Fear Region. UPDATE – Water Restored
Water service has been restored to the main passenger terminal building. All restrooms have returned to service but the terminal remains under a 24-hour precautionary boil water advisory until at least the afternoon of 10/4/2025. Due to a waterline failure serving the Wilmington International Airport main passenger terminal, the terminal currently does not have water.
