In 2021, Wilmington International Airport saw a strong return to travel, with 905,630 passengers flying to or from ILM. During the months of July-December 2021, ILM’s passenger recovery outperformed North Carolina and the United States. The ILM team, along with our partners, maintained a clean, safe, and sanitary facility throughout the year and made significant progress with the terminal expansion project.
