ILM’s New Tenants & Fall News

The flex building offers 10,000 sq feet of space onsite at the ILM Business Park
NEW Leases Signed at Wilmington International Airport’s (ILM) Business Park!
The Wilmington International Airport (ILM) inked two new leases at the brand new flex building; located in the ILM Business Park at the corner of Airport Boulevard and Gardner Drive. Toshiba International Corp, a Fortune Global 500 company, will occupy a 1,500 square foot space in the flex building; utilizing the space as Toshiba Business Solutions’ (TBS) headquarters in Wilmington, N.C.  TBS, the direct sales operation of Toshiba America Business Solutions, chose the location because of its proximity to major interstate highways and ILM enabling the company to better serve its clients.  “The opening of our Wilmington International Airport facility increases our footprint in North Carolina and allows us to support our expanding client base in the state,” said Bob Greenhalgh, president of Toshiba Business Solutions.  Mike Brown, of Cape Fear Commercial brokered the deal and stated he was “pleased to represent Toshiba Business Solutions in the transaction.”Scratch on 23rd, a new restaurant that will offer gourmet sandwiches and baked goods made from scratch daily, plans to open its doors soon after the new year. The restaurant, also leasing a space at the flex building, will be conveniently located across from the VA hospital and close by 23rd St. “We are very happy that an international company and local business both chose to locate right here on ILM grounds.  These businesses will bring additional services and dining options to our neighbors, business partners, and travelers alike.” Stated Carol LeTellier, Business Development Director for the Wilmington International Airport.

Since starting her position in February of this year, LeTellier has received strong interest in the flex building space.  Brokers whom refer a potential tenant to LeTellier, that ends up signing a lease, receive a competitive commission. Approximately 7,060 sq feet of sub-dividable prime space in the flex building are still available.  Brokers or interested parties are encouraged to schedule a tour via Carol LeTellier at cletellier@flyilm.com or 910-202-9390.

The team at Seahawk Aviation is excited to relocate to their new space at ILM

Seahawk Aviation Relocates to Larger Space; Hosts Open House

Seahawk Aviation Inc., a specialized aviation service operator, relocated to a new 10,000 sq foot hanger at Wilmington International Airport. The larger space will allow them to serve their growing customer base.  The team at Seahawk Aviation specializes in aircraft maintenance, aviation parts and supplies.  With a focus on customer service, Seahawk Aviation enjoys hearing positive feedback and was proud to share this recent note from a satisfied customer:

I just got my Citabria back from an annual with SeaHawk Aviation, Inc. at ILM. The entire process was extremely well done and professionally documented in addition to the plane being returned cleaned to the condition of looking brand new. Every discrepancy was personally shown to me and all options explained as to whether it was mandatory for 406AC to be airworthy, or cosmetic, or could be delayed until the next inspection, with any and all expenses explained and no pressure on me to make a quick decision. I feel that my plane could be subjected to a “pre-buy” with zero problems. The final bill was a little higher than I would have like to see, but I think I received much more value than billed.

I will go back to SeaHawk Aviation next year and highly recommend them to any of you. Ryan and Sean are always welcoming and will go over any and all questions you may have…”  ~Peter
